       After bonding, the metal pigment particle size on the surface of the coating becomes thinner, resulting in a decline in the metal flicker effect on the surface of the coating, which is mainly caused by the bonding time is too long, the number of times to return to bonding or the operation frequency is too high。

Because the pearlite pigment is made of mica powder calcined at high temperature, the material is very brittle, and it is easy to break and become fine in the bonding process。Therefore, for pearlescent metal powder coatings, it is necessary to appropriately reduce the operating frequency or shorten the bonding time of the bonding machine。

       The alkali resistance of the coating film is decreased after bonding. Usually, the metal powder coating with aluminum silver powder pigment is added, and the alkali resistance of the coating film after bonding is worse than that before bonding。This is because in order to increase the acid-alkali resistance of aluminum silver powder, aluminum silver powder is usually coated with silica and acrylic resin。In the bonding process, the operation of the blade of the bonding machine will break this protective film, which makes the alkali resistance of the metal powder coating film decrease after the bonding。

       When adjusting the base color, the base color is as close to the complexion as possible, which can reduce the influence of metal pigments on the final product color, so as to ensure the stability of product color between different batches。
